How can we help?

Check these three things:

1. Screen Time access is on. In Grace Before, open Settings → Device access. If it’s off, turn it on in iPhone Settings and come back.
2. You’ve chosen apps. In Pauses, check Paused apps. Only individual apps are paused. Categories and websites picked in Apple’s list aren’t.
3. A prayer time is on for today, in Pauses.

A pause also needs an active subscription or trial. If all of that looks right, write to us.

Open Grace Before, pray, and tap Amen. Your apps open and stay open until your next prayer time. There’s no timer. Pray at your own pace.

On Today, tap I need access now. Your apps open for five minutes, then pause again until you pray. It doesn’t count toward your streak.

Open the Pauses tab. Edit your paused apps, switch a prayer time on or off, change its days, or add another. Lock now starts a pause straight away.

In Pauses, choose Release all apps. That turns everything off, and you can still pray in the app.

You can also remove Grace Before’s permission in iPhone Settings → Screen Time. Deleting the app removes its pauses too.

Grace Before is made for iPhone. Pauses apply to the iPhone it’s installed on.

Personalized prayers are written by AI from today’s mood, topic and any words you add. General prayers are already in the app and send nothing.

Switch between them anytime in Settings → Personalized prayers.

Check your connection and try again. It usually works a moment later. A general prayer is always offered, so you’re never locked out of praying.

If it keeps happening, send us the reference code shown on that screen.

Up to 20 a day on each subscription. If you reach it, the app shows when it resets, and general prayers stay available.

AI can make mistakes, and a prayer may not fit your tradition or your day. Update your check-in and ask again, or choose a general prayer. If something was wrong or hurtful, please tell us what it was about so we can improve it.

Yes. Tap Aa while reading a prayer, or choose a reading size in Settings. Grace Before also follows your iPhone’s text size.

Eligible new subscribers get three days free on the weekly or yearly plan. Apple decides who is eligible. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the plan you chose begins and Apple charges its price.

You can ask Grace Before to remind you before the trial ends.

1. Open iPhone Settings.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Choose Grace Before, then Cancel Subscription.

You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Apple handles all payments and refunds, so we can’t issue one ourselves. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com.

In Grace Before, open Settings → Restore purchases. Make sure your iPhone is signed in with the Apple Account you subscribed with, and that you’re online.

In iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Grace Before, choose the other plan. Apple applies the change and tells you when it takes effect.

No. There’s nothing to sign up for. Your subscription is tied to your Apple Account, and everything else stays on your iPhone.

Your subscription will: install Grace Before and tap Restore purchases. Your prayers, history and streak won’t. They’re kept only on the phone where they were written and are left out of backups, so they start fresh on a new phone.

In Grace Before, open Settings → Delete all app data. The app shows what will be removed before anything is deleted. It can’t be undone.

This doesn’t cancel your subscription. Cancel that separately in iPhone Settings.

Only today’s mood, topic and the words you add, and only when personalized prayers are on. Never your name, your apps, your history or your purchases. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
